Training Coordinator

Job Summary

Paveway Africa Limited, on behalf of our client We are seeking a highly organised and motivated training coordinator to join their dynamic logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees in the logistics industry. The training coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring that our workforce is well-equipped to meet the challenges of the industry and contribute to the overall success of our organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

• To design and develop comprehensive training programs for employees at various levels within the logistics department.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and multimedia resources.
• Schedule and coordinate training sessions, ensuring that all logistics and resources are in place.
• To facilitate new logistics employees’ onboarding process, provide them with the necessary training to integrate seamlessly into their roles.
• To conduct regular assessments to identify skill gaps and training needs within the logistics team.
• Work with department managers to address specific training requirements for teams or individuals.
• To deliver training sessions as needed, utilizing various instructional techniques to engage participants effectively.
• To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of training activities, attendance, and participant progress.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance and improve training programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ of experience in training coordination, preferably in the logistics or supply chain industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using training and learning management systems.
• Ability to adapt training programs to meet the diverse needs of participants.
• Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes is a plus.
