Job Summary
Paveway Africa Limited, on behalf of our client, is seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join their team as a pharmaceutical sales representative. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals, specifically within the pharmacist industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of pharmaceutical products, and a proven track record of successful sales in the healthcare sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To establish and maintain strong relationships with pharmacists, pharmacy managers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Regularly visit pharmacies to understand their needs, address concerns, and promote our pharmaceutical products.
- Effectively communicate product information to healthcare professionals, providing education and training as needed.
- To develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct product presentations, seminars, and workshops for pharmacists to showcase the benefits of our products.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market conditions.
- Provide feedback to the marketing team to contribute to the development of marketing strategies and promotional materials.
- Provide ongoing support to pharmacists, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with customer service and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market feedback.
- Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, etc
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a strong understanding of the pharmacist industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in the pharmaceutical industry.
