General Manager

Job Summary

Paveway Africa on behalf of a client is seeking a talented General Manager to join their team and lead their organization to ensure strategic goals are met by setting operational policies, creating and maintaining budgets, managing employees, and more.

General Manager Responsibilities

• Assists in the development and implementation of the Business Plan, Marketing Plan, and Budget plan.
• To manage company budget and cash flow in coordination with the CFO.
• To make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits.
• To develop business strategies and ensure their alignment with short and long-term objectives.
• Analyze problematic situations and occurrences whether administrative or marketing and provide solutions.
• To lead and motivate subordinates to advance employee engagement and develop a high-performing managerial team.
• Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements.
• Make follow-up, evaluation, and accountability of branch managers and central management.
• To assure quality and company stability through the development & implementation of standards and – controls systems and producers and regular evaluation.
• Oversee all operations and business activities and marketing & sales to ensure that they produce the desired result every month with the overall strategy and mission.
• To review the weekly reports from all department Managers (Production, Quality, Maintenance).

General Manager Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounts and Finance, or any other related field.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a similar industry.
• Experience in planning and budgeting.
• Knowledge of business processes and functions (Finance, HR, Procurement, Operations, etc.)
• Strong analytical ability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Business acumen.
• Strong leadership skills.
