Job Summary

Paveway Africa Limited, on behalf of a client, is looking for a proactive Executive Assistant to support our banking sector executive team. This role involves providing crucial high-level administrative support, including schedule management and maintaining confidentiality. The ideal candidate should have exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently handle various administrative tasks.

Executive Assistant Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to executives, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, and presentations on behalf of the executives.
  • Act as a liaison between executives, internal teams, and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and timely responses.
  • Manage and maintain confidential information, handling sensitive data with utmost discretion.
  • Assist in the preparation and organization of meetings, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
  • Organize and prioritize incoming requests and inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel for action or response.
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the executive office.

Executive Assistant Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience (3 years) as an Executive Assistant or similar role within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in office software and applications, including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally at all levels.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Adaptability and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of banking operations, terminology, and procedures is a plus.
