Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will ensure that industrial machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably. You may be called out to deal with a breakdown or inspect the equipment as part of a maintenance schedule. Also, you will be responsible for planning and design processes of equipment and maintenance programs.

Maintenance Engineer Responsibilities

● To design and test new equipment, processes, procedures, and systems.
● Trouble-shooting and repairing equipment.
● Responding to breakdowns.
● To research and implement opportunities to make processes more efficient.
● To supervise engineering and technical staff.
● Managing budgets and maintaining statistical and financial records.
● To plan and organize maintenance.
● Liaising with suppliers, customers, and research and development staff.

Maintenance Engineer Requirements

● Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
● 3-5 years of experience.
● Systems maintenance knowledge.
● Ability to work independently.
● Comfortable computing and calibrating when necessary.
