Job Summary

Paveway Africa Limited, on behalf of its client, is looking for a pharmacist who will be responsible for aiding customers by compounding and/or dispensing prescription medications, providing pharmaceutical information to healthcare professionals, monitoring customers’ drug therapies to avoid interactions with other medications, and providing pharmaceutical expertise to customers on the safe use of medications.

Pharmacists Responsibilities

• Dispensing drugs as per prescriptions;
• Compounding/Manufacturing medicines;
• Assisting in procurement and maintaining adequate stock of drugs;
• Compiling store records and prescriptions;
• Assisting physicians, interns, nurses, and patients with medications;
• Sorting out and listing drugs expiring by the method of FEFO for the attention of the Senior Pharmacist and Performing any other duties as assigned by his/her Superior.

Pharmacists Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) from any recognized University with one (1) year of internship and must be registered with the Pharmacy Council of Tanzania.
